Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to ideate, conceptualize, define product vision for consumer and enterprise applications
• Work with internal product, design, and engineering teams to build and grow those applications, e.g.:
  • Translate that vision into requirements and instructions for engineering
  • Coordinate with project teams to define and estimate development timeframes and identify dependencies and areas of risk to be considered in project planning
  • Conduct daily stand-ups for project engineering team
• Along with account and project managers, liaise with clients regarding status, product design
• Stay current on mobile and web trends, technologies, and coding best practices
• Follow emerging trends and technologies (e.g. applications of sensors, computer vision, etc), looking for applications and opportunities in existing or new products
• Work within a fast, iterative, agile development workflow

​Requirements

• Minimum B.S. Computer Science, engineering, or related field and/or at least 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience developing and releasing mobile applications to the respective mobile app stores for iOS and/or Android (and ideally w/ the publishing process)
• Strong understanding of iOS and Android mobile SDKs and APIs
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design
• Experience writing technical specifications, documenting technical architectures, test plans
• Experience with Swift, Java, Kotlin, Objective-C, React Native, or some prominent mobile platform; web/backend technology (Java, PHP, python, ruby, Go or Windows/.NET); relational databases
• Experience with Linux administration is a plus
• Experience with enterprise architectures and architectural patterns is a plus
• Working knowledge of git and distributed change control concepts, Agile development, continuous integration and continuous delivery, testing
• Desire to solve problems and build great things
